Hi everyone, Today’s blog is a report on children in need day! It was a huge success and altogether we managed to raise £602.38p! The non-uniform looked great and we will soon find out who the best dressed was. Here are a few pictures of the non-uniform.

The art competition was also great and lots of amazing pieces of art work were created by the students of Merrydale. The winner of the art competition was Lina in 6GW. Here are a few pictures of the amazing art work.

The spare change was amazing and over £100 was raised just by spare change! The class who raised the most was 6GW. They have won an extra 15 minutes of play. The baking competition was amazing, and lots of beautiful and delicious baking creations were sold. The winner was Ria in class 5HH. Here are some pictures.

The penalty shoot out was held at lunch time, and seeing the hard work of the pupils was great. A lot of 20p’s were collected. The guess the sweets in the jar was great and lots of people were very close to the answer. The winner won the jar of sweets.

Pin the nose on Pudsey was hilarious and awesome. A lot of people got close to the nose and Anmol in class 4AD was very close! However, Lina in class 6GW had 3 shots and on the very last one she got it onto the nose!

Bric-a-brac was amazing and lots of people brought lots of things. The donations were outstanding. Thanks to everyone who brought something in.

Well that’s all I have to say, I hope you all had a great Children in need day. Thanks to everyone for their amazing donations, support and donations. I’ll see you all next time, bye!
